Fondazione Umberto Veronesi was set up in 2003 on the initiative of Professor Umberto Veronesi with the aim of supporting research into scientific methods of excellence, through the provision of research grants for doctors and researchers, and to promote the proper dissemination of science, so that the results and discoveries of science become the heritage of all.

Pink is good is the Umberto Veronesi Foundation project dedicated to the fight against female tumors (breast, uterus and ovary). It was born in 2013 with two main objectives: to fund the daily work of the best researchers who decimate their lives studying these diseases and to spread the culture of prevention through the adoption of healthy and correct lifestyles, essential to live long and healthy lives, and periodic screening, essential to identify the disease in the earliest stages.
